In any relationship it’s natural for judgment and self-criticism to arise in challenging moments. However, by learning to listen in a deeper way we can use these admonitions to our advantage. Beyond feeling bad about ourselves, these judgments and self-criticism are telling us things. They are voices advocating for change, new boundaries, more love, and any number of values. Listening more deeply, we can experience a newfound sense of harmony, security, and peace.
